ABOUT THE ARTIST<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nina Nowak (1984) works in Copenhagen, Maastricht, and Germany. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the Royal Institute of Fine Art in Stockholm, and at Kunstakademie D\u00fcsseldorf where she graduated in 2015. Her work has been shown internationally amongst others at museum kunstpalast D\u00fcsseldorf (DE), Galleri Susanne Ottesen Copenhagen (DK), Museum Ostwall (DE), Entr\u00e9e Bergen (NO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her work, Nina is interested in the borderland of animated and supposedly dead matter. She works in different techniques and media such as installations, sculpture, 3D techniques, and graphics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of Art Hub Residency in 2019, Nina examined the interrelations of material matter and processes of transformation. She researched the dynamics of water flow and collaborated with scientist Tomas Bohr from ITU in a talk at RESPOND FESTIVAL 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
