OPEN CALL – Art Hub Copenhagen Work Desk
Do you need a day-to-day work desk to support your artistic or curatorial practice? Are you interested in working in a shared space with like-minded practitioners? Then apply for Art Hub’s Work Desk.
Who is Work Desk for? Work Desk is for professional artists, curators and practitioners, with other creative backgrounds, whose work intersects with the field of art. We wish to offer a variety of practitioners a space to work and meet, as a useful addition to a studio or freelance practice.
What is Work Desk? Work Desk is offered as a daily or occasional place to work, have meetings, and do collaborative work.

As a Work Desk user, you have access to Art Hubs facilities during our work hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm). We are located at Halmtorvet 27, in the Meatpacking District.
When and for how long? Every practice is widely different, and our focus is to offer people access to a work desk for any amount of time or period needed. For now, we offer Work Desk on a continuous basis until June 2020.
What do we ask from you? Not too much, other than to be considerate of those around you, follow basic house rules, return what you have borrowed throughout the day and in general help us keep the space clean and welcoming for everyone.
How do we select? You must be a professional artist, curator or practitioner, and we select based on the merits and your practice. We aim to make the space available for as many as possible and if more people apply than those, we can house we will select people based on gathering as diverse a group of practitioners as possible. Please notice that we prioritize emerging practitioners.
What is Work Desk Event Grants? Art Hub accepts proposals for time-based events and offers coordination assistance and a small budget.
If you are interested in joining Work Desk, then send us an application that briefly describes your practice and interest in Work Desk, please sketch out when you want to use the space (days a week, time of day, overall time period). The application should be max 1 A4 page, plus attached C.V.
