Join the Free Lunch Series on Tuesday, 19 August, when artist Anna Walther, in conversation with art historian and curator Helene Elsig, will provide an insight into her practice with a special focus on the upcoming exhibition Provins Provence.
The conversation will revolve around the exhibition's themes, which touch on the home as a scene for identity, dreams, nostalgia and norms, and on the longing for the province rather than the big city. In Provins Provence, the refrigerator becomes not only a backdrop for practice and everyday life - but an exhibition space for aesthetic approaches and social reflections.

ABOUT ANNA WALTHER
Anna Walther is a visual artist based in Copenhagen. She graduated from the Funen Academy of Fine Arts with a post-graduate degree from the Anne Marie Carl Nielsen program for art in public spaces in 2025. Walther's practice spans exhibitions, site-specific works and art in public spaces that explore the intersection of sculpture, collaborations and accessibility, always with humor, warmth and critical acumen.
ABOUT HELENE ELSIG
Helene Elsig, MA in Art History, creative director and curator, is the founder of the art platform Contemporary 10 (C~10). The platform works to build bridges between artists and society – and to make contemporary art accessible to more people. C~10 challenges the framework of art and actively works to break down social and aesthetic barriers with a focus on inclusion and diversity. In collaboration with artists like Anna Walther, C~10 works to support a socially sustainable working life, as well as create opportunities for collaboration, exhibitions and projects that insist on thinking about art differently – both in form, format, space and working life.
