Go on an art discovery in the meat packing district in Vesterbro, when nine artists exhibit works in nine very different shops. The artists display their works on a shelf, a table or in a window, thereby creating little surprises that you can experience while shopping, eating or simply walking around the area.

The nine artists exhibit selected works in places as diverse as restaurants, supermarkets, a pickle and salad shop, office facilities and much more.

The nine artists participating in the exhibition are Kasper Hesselbjerg, Mia Edelgart and Steffen Jørgensen, who have all been in residency at Art Hub in the spring of 2021. In addition, it is Gro Sarauw, Adam Khalil and Thuy-Han Nguyen-Chi, who in is currently in residency at Art Hub as well as Linda Lamignan, Marie Munk and Jens Settergren, who are currently part of the Bikubenfonden’s residency program. The exhibition shows young talented Danish and foreign artists in interaction with Art Hub’s local area in Vesterbro.

On AHC’s part, the exhibition is an experiment that intends to show art in alternative settings and thus draw attention to art’s potential.
