Ghost Agency ^(DK/MX)

Ghost Agency is a collaboration between Danish artist and organiser Gro Sarauw and Mexican artist and technologist Anni Garza Lau. The project is to be hosted by Art Hub Copenhagen (AHC) as a micro institute from 2023 to 2026.

As a countermove to contemporary gender violence in Mexico – and exploitative mechanisms of surveillance capitalism in general – Ghost Agency takes an artistic approach in designing strategic technologies for the safety of women exposed to systemic violence with impunity. With its novel organisational structure that propels artistic experimentation through collective processes, the project seeks to readdress both women’s and human rights in the digital age.
