Paula Ludusan Gibe (SE)
Curator
Paula Ludusan Gibe has studied art history and holds an MA in Museum studies from Lunds University, Sweden and a diploma in Curatorial Studies from Berlin.
Her curatorial work is highlighted by a sensitive approach and insight into the political structures within the art field. Her interest lies within meaning making in the contemporary art exhibition in which using pedagogical tools to create different platforms is essential. She works as a curator for mediation and exhibitions at Lunds Konsthall, Sweden. Working with both local and international artists has gained her great experience in exhibition making. She works with creating space within the institution for temporary experimental installations where artists such as locally based Carolina Sandvik, Jenny Grönvall and Helena Olsson have been a part of. Together with artist and spatial sound designer Tim Bishop, she co-founded Mono Festival of One-to-One-Performance working with artists such as Lundahl & Seitl, Cantabile 2 and Bombina Bombast. She curated Anna Ling’s first major solo exhibition in Sweden and is working in collaborative curatorial processes to expand the field and encourage intersections between curators and artists.
