In June 2026, two new members were selected to the AHC board: Director of MAPS – Museum for Art in Public Space, Malene Natascha Ratcliffe, and visual artist Rasmus Myrup.

Malene Natascha Ratcliffe (b. 1976) is an art historian with more than 20 years of experience from the art and culture sector, including specialized experience with management, strategic development of art institutions and the realization of major art projects and institutional collaborations. She was previously the CEO of SUPERFLEX Studio, where she steered projects in collaboration with institutions, cities and organizations globally.

Rasmus Myrup (b. 1991) is a Danish visual artist based in Copenhagen. He graduated from the Funen Academy of Fine Arts in 2018 and has an active, international exhibition practice, represented by Galleri Nicolai Wallner in Copenhagen and Jack Barrett in New York. Rasmus Myrup is a former resident at AHC and remains an active part of the community through his membership of AHC_WORKS.

Chairperson of the AHC board, Mette Kynne, states:

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Malene Natascha Ratcliffe and Rasmus Myrup to the board. They both bring great professional knowledge and insight into the art field and exciting perspectives on AHC’s practice and position in the institutional cultural landscape. Malene Natascha Ratcliffe brings an important international perspective to the table as well as her many years of experience with management, strategic development and partnerships. Rasmus Myrup, who has an international artistic practice and extensive experience with workshops facilities, adds another important artist perspective to the AHC board. Both bring competencies that help to ensure AHC’s continued development and value creation in the art field. I am very much looking forward to the collaboration and would also like to take this opportunity to say a thousand thanks to Gitte Ørskou and David Hilmer Rex for their time and commitment in the board.”

Gitte Ørskou stepped down from AHC’s board in 2025, and this position is now taken over by Malene Natascha Ratcliffe, while Rasmus Myrup takes over the seat from visual artist David Hilmer Rex.

AHC’s board also consists of Chairperson Mette Kynne Frandsen, Mette Marcus, Dina Vester Feilberg, Esben Weile Kjær and Nima Tisdall.
