On 28 November 2025, AHC’s first-ever Open Studios event was held at Thoravej 29, presenting a wide range of artists and curators that we have hosted throughout the year. The participating artists and curators were spread across various locations in the building— in their studios and in the workshops—where they engaged in conversations about their artistic and curatorial work.
During the evening, visitors could experience performative works by Barbara Amalie Skovmand Thomsen, Ville Laurinkoski, and Skjold Rambow, as well as Ghost Agency’s exhibition Session 8 in Room Room.
The participating artists and curators:
Anna Munk, Barbara Amalie Skovmand Thomsen, Cecilie Penney, Cecilie Skov, Christine Dahlerup, Ditte Krøyer, Elisa Capucci, Fatma Bucak, Gro Sarauw, Helen Nishijo, Jiawei Zheng, Karen Vestergaard Andersen, Madeleine Andersson, Paola Paleari, Rasmus Myrup, Rune Brink Hansen, Silas Inoue, Stine Deja, Tinne Zenner and Ville Laurinkoski.

ABOUT ART HUB COPENHAGEN’S STUDIOS AND WORKSHOPS
AHC manages 14 studios and five workshops at Thoravej 29. The studios are between 10 and 37 m2 in size, and AHC’s workshops include wood, metal, casting and assembly workshops as well as a digital workshop.
These are facilities for professional visual artists, curators, researchers and art writers, which in the first year, 2025, have been made available to participants in AHC’s various programs as well as 15 artists and three curators who have been selected via open calls in 2024.
In 2025, the residents have had access to the facilities free of charge and also been part of a test group, where they helped to develop the environment and the workshops together with AHC in order for the institution to learn, adjust and further develop the facilities, so that the studios and workshops can be made available to even more people in the future.
