Bizarro ^(DK)

A curatorial research collective with their own exhibition space, Bizarro are based in premises on Gl. Mønt in the centre of Copenhagen. Since 2020 Bizarro have been mounting solo and duo exhibitions, featuring both Danish and international artists.
The idea for Bizarro was inspired by a desire to create a different exhibition experience, to come up with new alternatives to classic exhibition models, and to boost collaboration between artists, art mediators and curators. Bizarro is run by Mai Dengsøe, Magnus Andersen and Louis Scherfig, whose commitment to Bizarro is rooted in their interest in developing a sustainable format. Their curatorial approach involves very close collaboration with the individual artists.
