Farewell to Managing Director Susanne Hviid
Jacob Fabricius and Susanne Hviid, who have formed the management of AHC for three years as artistic and administrative directors, respectively, have chosen to take new paths in their careers this summer. Fabricius resigned from his position in June, and Susanne Hviid will step down after seven years at the end of August.
On behalf of both the board and the employees, the chair of the AHC board, Mette Kynne Frandsen, thanks Susanne Hviid for her many years of dedication to AHC and her excellent work in developing and leading an entirely new type of art institution in Denmark.
Susanne Hviid says:
“It has been a great privilege to help build, develop, and place a new art institution on the map – and together with talented colleagues and partners, give time, space and voice to visual artists through residencies, events, and partnerships, both nationally and internationally: I am proud of the results that my fantastic colleagues and I have achieved together, and of the organisational development during my time as director. And not least, I am grateful for all the inspiring people I have met along the way. Now, I pass the baton on and wish AHC all the best in its future work. I look forward to following its continued development from the outside.”
Susanne Hviid will resign from her position on 31 August 2025.
