OPEN CALL: Wintanworks Residency 2027
Wintanworks is a residency and an exchange programme for professional visual artists in both Denmark and Ghana. This is the Open Call for Ghanaian artists. The deadline for applications is 15 November 2026 at 11.59 PM.
Organized by Art Hub Copenhagen (AHC) and blaxTARLINES KUMASI, Wintanworks is a residency and exchange programme, which provides two artists – one from Ghana and one from Denmark – with the opportunity to ‘swap’ locations for two months, each of them thereby engaging with a new art scene.
This is an open call for artists living in Ghana to apply for a residency in Copenhagen from 1 May to 30 June 2027. The deadline for applications is 15 November 2026 at 11.59 PM (Central European Time).
The residency programme comprises a stipend, euro accommodation, and a planned programme that allows for time to conduct research, form a new network, and give a public talk or presentation.
You’ll find the Copenhagen residency programme below and more on Wintanworks here.
Please note that this residency can only be applied for if you reside in Ghana. If you are from Denmark, please go to this Open Call.
