On September 17, join us for the return of Partly with an updated program: Alessandra Rombolá will perform pieces for solo flute by Christina Kubisch and György Kurtág, and Tan Lin will read poetry.
Unfortunately, Wolfgang Heisig had to cancel his performance at Partly due to unforeseen circumstances, and we will no longer be able to present Nancarrow’s music.
Alessandra Rombolá is a flautist known for her performance of works by contemporary composers, as well as for her improvisations. She has worked closely with both Kubisch and Kurtág, and has selected a program of their works for this event. It will be a special chance to hear this wonderful and strange music live in an intimate setting.
Tan Lin is the author of many books of poetry and fiction that explore digital culture, plagiarism, ambience, distraction, memoir, and paratext. For thirty years, his work has been consistently challenging and widely influential (especially among younger experimental-leaning poets). This is his first reading in Copenhagen.
