Tuesday 24 January Art Hub Copenhagen and the artist Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen are hosting a Free Lunch. Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen is currently showing the work “Der bor et bjerg i mig” at the Kolorist exhibition at Den Frie in Copenhagen. The conversation during lunch will be based on the current work but will also touch upon Engelsborg Karlsen’s practice in general.
Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen has invited Nina Toudal Jessen, Postdoc from Sustainability Science Center, Globe Institute, University of Copenhagen, and Mikkel Krause Frantzen, Postdoc and vicedirector at Center for Applied Ecological Thinking at the University of Copenhagen, to join the conversation. Toudal Jessen has among other things written a Ph.d. titled “Jord og Landskab: Relationelle landskabsforandringer i det 20. århundrede” (Earth and landscape: Relational landscape changes in the 20th century), and Krause Frantzen is among other things the author of the book “klodens Fald” (the fall of the globe).
”Der bor et bjerg i mig” is on show at Den frie from 7 January until 5 February 2023.
Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen is part of Art Hub Copenhagen’s Residency To-Go programme.
