Art Hub Copenhagen hosted the launch of Curatorial Forum, a newly founded interest group represented by UKK—Organization for artists, curators, and art mediators with a special focus on advancing curatorial discourse and improving the working conditions of curators.
Additionally, the group encourages a nuanced discussion on curatorial practice, advocating for diversity in the field. Curatorial Forum is initiated by Malene Dam, Line Ellegaard, Nanna Stjernholm Jepsen, Mette Woller, and Nina Wöhlk.
The event also marked the beginning of a collaboration titled Forum between Art Hub Copenhagen and Curatorial Forum, which aims to put curatorial practice on the agenda and promote critical thinking and collegial discussion in the field, as well as foster a closer network for Danish and international curators. Forum will organize a series of events in 2020.
