I write a word. It looks funny. I check to see if it’s misspelled, but it’s correct – John Miller, Cinematic Moments (1977).
On 16 November 2021 Art Hub & The School of Sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts presented WHY WORDS NOW – the format that tests and probes the paradoxical overabundance of words in the field of visual arts, on this occasion with artist John Miller on the stage.

ON WHY WORDS NOW
In partnership with the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Sculpture, Art Hub brings international artists, critics, curators and art historians to Copenhagen to present their work and in different ways answer the question about what the role of the language is and can be in the space of the visual arts. Why Words Now is curated by artist and academy professor Simon Dybbroe Møller, and independent curator and PhD student at Aarhus University Helga Just Christoffersen.
