behshad tajammol (b. 1992, Iran) is an interdisciplinary Iranian artist whose practice unfolds at the intersection of art and activism.
Sharpening the lens on political dimensions of language, voice and memory, her work investigates how personal and collective memories are formed and erased. Through video, sound and in-depth research tajammol connects intimate and personal histories with broader sociopolitical structures using archival research as a way of addressing silenced narratives shaped by war, trauma and gender.
Tajammol studied sculpture at Teheran Art University and holds a diploma from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Bremen, where she completed the Meisterschüler*innen program in 2023.
