Elisabeth Holager Lund is from Hamar, Norway but lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. She’s a freelance scenographer who has worked with various operas and scenic performances. Elisabeth has a strong intuition towards how to build or structure a room with sound. She works methodically towards searching for the right materials that will transmit the right type of sound, site-specifically utilising what already exists in the room as a navigating starting point.
Elisabeth is educated in Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and has worked as scenographer for The Royal Danish Theatre, Odense Symphony Orchestra, Opera Hadeland and the French-Norwegian puppetry theatre company Plexus Polaire, together with composer Guro Moe amongst others.
