Jari Malta ^(UY)

Jari Malta (Montevideo) is a Malmö-based curator working within and beyond institutions. He often engages in slow processes, taking inspiration from friends, youtube videos and dark dance floors. With a background in literary studies and critical theory, Jari graduated from the Independent Studies Program at MACBA and CuratorLab at Konstfack. After a 10-months research residency in Athens hosted by documenta14, he moved to Sweden, from where he collaborates with museums, artist-run spaces and independent radios. Writing is pivotal to his practice.
