Jeph Lo (TW)

Researcher, curator & co-founder, TheCube Project Space

Jeph Lo is a researcher, curator, and co-founder of TheCube Project Space in Taipei, specializing in sound culture with an emphasis on Taiwanese underground music, noise movements, and experimental sound practices from the 1990s onward.

His notable curatorial projects include co-curating ALTERing NATIVism: Sound Cultures in Post-War Taiwan (2014) and worked as the chief editor of the exhibition’s catalogue/reader (2015). Jeph also has served as chief curator of the digital archive Soundtraces: A Database of Modern Taiwanese Sound Culture (2016), the podcast Talking Drums Radio (2019-), Sound Meridians (2020-), and Sonic Shaman: TheCube Forum Music Festival (2022, 2024).
