Stense Andrea Lind-Valdan (DK)

Stense Andrea Lind-Valdan, b. 1985, is a visual artist trained under Tumi Magnusson from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts at the then Department of Painting in the expanded field. She works with painting, performance and photography and has several exhibitions behind her, most recently the group exhibition MAMA MIA (2022) at Willumsens Museum, which she also curated, the solo exhibition Under (2023) at Galleri Maria Friis and the current solo exhibition Ve (2024) at Huset for Kunst & Design.

She also works as an art critic for the Nordic art journal Kunstkritikk. Together with her partner Rune Gade, she runs Forlaget Sød tøs, which publishes artists’ books in very small editions. Stense Andrea Lind-Valdan’s works have been purchased by the Ny Carlsberg Foundation, SMK, the Statens Kunstfond and others.
