Research Hosting
As part of our focus area Art & Research, Art Hub Copenhagen functions as a hosting institution for PhD and postdoc projects within practice-based research on art and curating.
At the beginning of each year an open call is issued where one can apply to have AHC as a host institution for one’s PhD and postdoc project. The projects will primarily be funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF).
PhD candidates who are considered for a place with AHC are offered an opportunity to undergo a mentoring programme with both internal and external supervision in order to improve their applications to NNF. The PhD degree is awarded by a Danish university at which the candidate registers. NNF has a deadline for applications at the beginning of January each year.
In 2023 the deadline for applying to AHC as a hosting institution for PhD projects is on 27 February 2023.
