Felia Gram-Hanssen (born 1983, based in Copenhagen) is a Danish sound artist. Her artistic practice consists of performative and installational settings. She investigates translations between sound, image, and movement, and looks upon how they can be a kind of template to each other. Gram-Hanssen often works in collective constellations in the field between art, music, and dance, moreover she is the drummer of the Copenhagen based performance group MESHES.
This Free Lunch conversation will focus on Felia Gram-Hanssen’s work of combining field and studio recordings as an attempt to broaden our way of listening. Among other things, she will speak about her newest sound pieces and put focus on the act of listening actively with an intention.
Conversation partners are Stina Marie Hasse Jørgensen and Rune Søchting.

ABOUT FREE LUNCH SERIES
Art Hub is dedicated to creating contact and interaction among younger artists. Every other Tuesday we invite the art world and public to a free lunch where they can enjoy an informal conversation with a young, professional visual artist. The artist is invited to talk about their practice, current research or new ideas – and to explore the issues that are part of every art practice.
