Please join us for Free Lunch on the 9th of November with visual artist Jette Hye Jin Mortensen. At the lunch Jette Hye Jin Mortensen will introduce her new interdisciplinary collaboration Art+Science+Permaculture (ASP) together with senior scientist Pierre-Elouan Réthoré and development engineer Mikkel Friis-Møller, both from DTU Risø Wind energy. Jette, Mikkel and Pierre-Elouan are all based in Roskilde which is also the home for DTU Risø Campus.
Their upcoming projects will focus on sociocratic collaborations between artists and scientists on current projects in the green energy sector and creating more holistic views in a field that until now mostly have focused on efficiency. Participants in the lunch will also be included in a discussion of social acceptance, how to regenerate resources rather than clinging to the sustainability term and how art could inform wind turbine design and scientific research in the future.

ABOUT FREE LUNCH SERIES
Art Hub is dedicated to creating contact and interaction among younger artists. Every other Tuesday we invite the art world and public to a free lunch where they can enjoy an informal conversation with a young, professional visual artist. The artist is invited to talk about their practice, current research, or new ideas – and to explore the issues that are part of every art practice.
