On June 15, the Danish visual artist Kasper Hesselbjerg, who is currently in residency at Art Hub, will be hosting a special edition of Free Lunch Series.
Kasper will present and serve two new servings, which will initiate the joint lunch. Based on the two servings Kasper will present his artistic practice and initiate a conversation touching on, among other things, the relationship between the symbolic value of food and its sensuous materiality.
Also joining the conversation is visual artist Nanna Abell and Amitai Room.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kasper Hesselbjerg (1985) graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2013. His artistic practice unfolds in the intersection of both sculpture, image, and text. Here, he examines the premises of the encounter with the objects in our everyday lives and how we, together with them, can create meaning.
ABOUT FREE LUNCH SERIES
Art Hub is dedicated to creating contact and interaction among younger artists. Every other Tuesday we invite the art world and public to a free lunch where they can enjoy an informal conversation with a young, professional visual artist. The artist is invited to talk about their practice, current research or new ideas – and to explore the issues that are part of every art practice.
