Please join us for lunch on February 20, at 12.00pm to meet artists Julie Riis Andersen and Rebecca Krasnik, who will present their current duo exhibition YEARS OF STREAMING at AGA Works in Copenhagen.
The exhibition is based on liquid and light, as essential parts of transformative processes. The works make use of both analogue and digital images and processes – with handcast paper, analogue photography, chlorophyll prints and computer-generated images, old and new technologies merge.
The exhibition can be seen until March 2, and you can read more here (in Danish). The exhibition text is written by curator Rebekka Elisabeth Anker-Møller.

ABOUT JULIE RIIS ANDERSEN
Julie Riis Andersen (b. 1988) works with paper, print and installation – approaching paper more as an independent medium and less in its traditional supporting role. Sampling and reprinting images largely from waste and discarded material, such as commercial illustrations and mass-produced decor, she delves into the ambivalence and uncertainty of today’s consumer culture.
ABOUT REBECCA KRASNIK
Rebecca Krasnik’s work examines the images we surround ourselves with and the way in which they represent our world. With photography, algorithms and computer-generated images, Rebecca Krasnik explores technological developments from the 19th century to the present day. Her work spans a wide range of media – from prints, video and animations to text, artists’ books and sculptural installations.
