17 January 2025 marked the opening of the very first exhibition presented at AHC’s new exhibition space Room Room.
The exhibition was curated by Johanne Jacobsen and Kristian Kirk, directors of the exhibition space inter.pblc and presented works by nine Danish and international artists, all of whom have had an association with AHC.
The participating artists were: Beth Collar, Heine Kjærgaard Klausen, Javier Alvarez Sagredo, Jules Fischer, Justin F. Kennedy, Maja Malou Lyse, Masar Sohail, Sara Sjölin, and Simon Dybbroe Møller.
Titled 9-5, 5-9, the group exhibition investigated contemporary online culture and examined how our frenetic presence on platforms both online and offline has created an untamed land of shares and reactions, hot takes and tags, resignation and intervention. As the exhibition text stated: ‘Active participant or passive passersby, you promise yourself an early night but end up scrolling till dawn.’
