Anna Margrethe Pedersen studied at Camberwell College of Art, University of the Arts London, 2009. Co-founder of the artist group YEARS, which was also an exhibition venue on Tagensvej, Copenhagen in 2012-2019, as well as NEW YEARS, which ran in 2014-2015 in the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen. Curated in 2019-20 the contemporary art program VK Contemporary Art at Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon and has been artistic director of the exhibition venue HFKD in Holstebro since 2021.

In recent years, YEARS has created art in public spaces, including the work CHAIN in CBS’s student house The Station and Anslag at three different building plots in Trekroner. In 2021, the National Gallery of Denmark acquired the installation I Don’t Want to Live. I Don’t Want to Die to their collection. The work originally formed a solo exhibition of the same title at Den Frie in 2019.
