Awa Konaté ^(DK/CI)

Awa Konaté is a London and Copenhagen-based Danish-Ivorian independent curator, researcher, and writer. She is the founder of the research platform Culture Art Society (CAS).

As a curator, she works with exhibitions, public programmes, and cinema, specialising in African/Black Diasporic visual arts, having worked with the likes of Serpentine Galleries, Barbican, The Danish Film Institute, and others.

Her writings have been published in Third Text, Phaidon, Paletten Art Journal, Widewalls Magazine, and more. She is currently leading CAS’s curatorial research residency with The Showroom Gallery in London
