Kristian Vistrup Madsen ^(DK)

Kristian Vistrup Madsen is a writer, art critic and curator based in Berlin. His art criticism has been published in magazines such as Artforum, Harpers, The White Review, Spike and Kunstkritik.

Doing Time, a collection of essays about the relationships of politics to art and experience to writing, was published by Floating Opera Press in 2021. His latest exhibition, Play It As It Lays, was part of Curated By in Vienna in 2024. In 2025, he will curate a series of events at Simian in Copenhagen following his essay in Kunstkritikk “Mood over Content”.
