Curator

Program

Kristine Spejlborg (she/her) b. 1989, curator at Nuuk Art Museum with a background in object conservation from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Challenging traditional colonial museum- and curatorial practices, Nuuk Art Museum centers Greenlandic artists and the inner gaze in distinction to the colonial view dominant in visual art in Greenland since 1721. Kristine works within discourse that centers repatriation in a broad sense and which strives for an uncolonial practice and approach to curatorial projects and museum work in general. Kristine lives in Nuuk.
