Li Lindblom ^(SE)

Li Lindblom is a research based artist and ceramicist living in Malmö, Sweden. Fragments of stories and thoughts that emerge in the tactile interaction between hands and material, is the base of her work. Her main materials are clay and sand with which she creates sand casted and hand shaped sculptures where the sand stays a visual part of the finished object. Through their form and expression, they are often in dialogue with the past and the undiscovered, to create a narrative for unheard voices of the past and carry hope for the future.

Li Lindblom is taking part in the SPARK project Tidal Fragments in collaboration with artist Emma Harris and researcher Giulia Zampirolo.
