Louis André Haugaard Jørgensen lives and works in Copenhagen. Their practice unfolds through performance, installation, text, sculpture and photography. Humour and critical curiosity motivates their work, which often comments on the paradoxical meetings between people and the technologies that we invent, but can neither fathom nor predict the consequences of. They understand technology as both physical and immaterial inventions, like for instance the stock market, whose movements we’re all affected by but cannot forecast – or language, which originates from us, and at the same time, shapes us.

Louis André Haugaard Jørgensen has exhibited and performed both nationally and internationally; for instance at dasHAUS (DE), DELFI (SE), Kunsthal Aarhus (DK), The Stock Exchange (DK), The Ancient History Museum (DK), Den Frie Center for Contemporary Art (DK), and Møstings Hus (DK).
