Maja Chiara Faber ^(PL)

Maja Chiara Faber’s work navigates explorations of esotericism, sexuality, memory and fiction. She gained her MFA at Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam and MA in Film and New Media Studies at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She is a founder and director of Lava Avantgarde Film Festival, which programmed video and sound artists. The festival gathered many voices of international queer community. Together with Foltyn they conspired, produced and celebrated queer magick before they both left Poland in 2019. Faber’s own practice focuses on sound explorations, healing and communal bonding; she performs under the moniker Satin de Compostela.
