Mycelium

Mycelium materialized in Denmark in 2016 as an artistic, activist, writing, and performing collective. Mycelium is the name of the underground part of a fungus, a network of branching threads. Since then, Mycelium has spread to Iceland, Norway, Canada, France, etc., where they have been involved in theater, performance, publication of pamphlets and theoretical works, in addition to participating in demonstrations and activism. Mycelium abstains from selfish ownership and authorship and therefore always presents itself masked, anonymously, and collectively. Among Mycelium’s works are Becoming bird, Black/White Theater, 2021 (text, concept, performance); Necrobiosis for Pythias voices, 2021 (performance); and Requiem For an Age, Sydhavn Theater, 2020 (text).
