Bjørn Nørgaard (DK)

Bjørn Nørgaard (b. 1947) is a Danish sculptor, graphics and performance artist, based in Copenhagen and Møn, DK. He is the initiator behind Containerakademiet in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.
He was a member of the experimental school in the sixties, Eks-skolen, and between 1985-1994 he was a professor at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Furthermore, former professor at CNN, China National Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, as well as guest professor at Trondheim Art Academy, Norway; Oslo Art Academy, Norway; Rijksakademiet, Amsterdam Holland and Hertogenbosch Academy, Holland.
Bjørn Nørgaard has a large number of solo exhibitions on his CV, both in Denmark and abroad. He is represented by Galleri Susanne Ottesen in Copenhagen.
