Peter Holme-Jensen holds a M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Structural Protein Chemistry and has an extensive scientific and industrial network. He co-founded three other companies within pharma and biotechnology. In 2005, he founded Aquaporin and have been the CEO since.

Aquaporin is a water-tech company delivering innovative technology built on nature’s own filtration. Their goal is clean, natural drinking water for all and the sustainable re-use of water in industrial applications. They use aquaporins – water purifiers found in every living cell – advanced biotechnology and engineering to make this happen.

Aquaporin works according to a principle of convergence with other scientific fields to achieve the most innovative solutions. In this connection, the platform Primer was founded in 2016. Primers activities consist of open-ended long term collaborations with artists, thematic exhibition projects, public private partnerships in collaboration with Aquaporin, workshops and events, collaborations with external partners and network activities. Primer is operated by Diakron, a research studio, comprised of artists, curators, a social scientist and a graphic designer.
