Sandra Díaz ^(AR)

Sandra Díaz is Professor of Community- and Ecosystems Ecology at the National University of Córdoba in Argentina and program director of the National University Council in Argentina. Díaz does research in biodiversity and the active role of plants in the development of the Planet and environmental change. In 2019, Diaz was awarded the Gunnerus Sustainability Science Award, and that same year, she was granted fellowship as Foreign Member of the Royal Society. Diaz is among the top 1 percent of the most cited researchers in the world.
