Open Call : Residency To Go 2023-2024

If you are a visual arts graduate and based in Denmark, you can apply for a place in Art Hub Copenhagen’s Residency To Go-programme. The Residency runs from 1 October 2023 until 31 March 2024.

Deadline for applying is 15 May 2023.

ABOUT RESIDENCY TO GO

Residency To Go is not a traditional residency, but a programme that takes place in the artist’s own studio. This means that the programme is open only to artists who already have their own studio, but who would benefit from feedback and welcome support in the development of their practice as artists.

An important part of Residency To Go is the development of networks and discussion/feedback sessions with curators and mentors based in Denmark and Skåne County (Sweden), as well as an advisory course with an art consultant. The advisory course will be based on the artist’s current practice, featuring both individual conversations and joint workshops with the other artists in the Residency To Go programme.

As part of the process, artists will have the option of organising an ‘open studio’, and of collaborating with the 2024 Roskilde Festival. There will also be a programme of visits to a number of selected institutions throughout Denmark.

WHAT THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES:

Residency To Go consists of a 6-month programme from 1 October 2023 to 31 March 2024. The programme features the following elements:

• A 10-15-hour advisory course
• 2-3 studio visits with curators based in Denmark/Skåne County.

• A fee of DKK 15,000 per month
