Rebecca Krasnik’s work examines the images we surround ourselves with and the way in which they represent our world. With photography, algorithms and computer-generated images, Rebecca Krasnik explores technological developments from the 19th century to the present day. Her work spans a wide range of media – from prints, video and animations to text, artists’ books and sculptural installations.

Rebecca Krasnik holds an MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York and a BA in photography from University of Westminster in London.

Rebecca Krasnik also works as a curator, and in 2019 started the curatorial project Lazed Leaves, which places works of art in relaxed positions on sofas in people’s homes. Additionally, she is a part of the artist run space Bladr – a platform for artists’ books.
