Summerworks

Summerworks is Art Hub’s residency program in New York, founded in partnership with the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (EFA) and the Bikuben Foundation New York.

Art Hub Copenhagens summer-residency

Every July four young artists and one curator are selected by an external jury to participate in a program that includes accommodation in the Bikubenfoundation’s Academic Guest House on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and studio space at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts’ printmaking workshop in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

In 2019 Summerworks hosted artists Moa Alskog, Anne Louise Blicher, Anne Mette Schultz, and Wilfred Wagner. In 2020 and again in 2022 Summerworks was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Deadline for Open Call 2022 was 7 April 2022. Open Call 2023 will be announced at this page.
